Autumn Party Snacks

Fall is in there air! Can you feel it? Fall is a great time to gather together and celebrate the change of scenery. The key component to every great party is the snacks. Using pumpkins are usually the go-to ingredient and decoration when it comes to cooking in the fall. However, apples are an overlooked source that tastes great and looks great, too! We've been busy in the kitchen recipe testing some delicious treats to celebrate the season!

Wrena Hufford's Apple Crisp

This delicious apple crisp recipe is a favorite among the Hufford family. It is on the sweet side, but the apples bring the aroma of fall into your home. For a single batch, we found the Le Creuset 10.25" Round Skillet provided plenty of room without overcrowding the pan.

Topping ingredients

  • 1/2 C Brown Sugar, packed
  • 1/2 C Flour

  8. Bake approximately 30 minutes, or until bubbly.
  9. Enjoy.

Pull-Apart Caramel Apple Bread

It's sweet, it's sticky and super delicious. This pull-apart bread recipe is similar to monkey bread we made a few months ago, but with an ooey, gooey, Autumn Twist. The additional caramel and apple bring a twist to the traditional caramel apples kids and adults enjoy. For this recipe, we used the Le Creuset Square Dish for baking and serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 tube of refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 C. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • A pinch of Salt
  • 1 C. minced granny smith apple
  • Warm caramel (for drizzling after baking is complete)

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the sugars, cinnamon, and a generous pinch of salt.
  3. Cut each biscuit in half, then cut each slice into smaller pieces (about eight per biscuit)
  4. Place biscuits into the baking dish, pour butter on top and massage to combine.
  5. Place cinnamon sugar mixture on top and massage to combine.
  6. Pour in apples and cover throughout the pan. Massage in to mix the apples with the biscuits.
  7. Place into oven and bake until biscuits are puffy and golden, 30-35 minutes. Let cool slightly, then remove from pan.
  8. Drizzle with warm caramel and serve.

Harvest Puppy Chow

Puppy Chow (also known as Monkey Munch, Muddy Buddies, and Reindeer Chow) is a simple treat to feed a crowd. This recipe transforms the original into a festive autumn-themed snack. The Le Creuset Saucier Pan perfectly melted the butter, chocolate, and peanut butter together, and was very easy to clean afterward!

  • 1 C. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Suggested Festive Add-ins
